Thottska Villan and Knytpunkten, which is run by the Strömsholm Riding School Association, is situated in the equine and cultural heartland of Mälardalen. In this exclusive setting it offers both riders and business people comfortable accommodation and excellent food.

The hotel is situated on the top of a ridge, facing Strömsholm Palace and the avenue leading up to it. The building, which is from 1770, was previosly home to the managers of the royal stud farm at the State Riding School. The Manager´s House, as it was sometimes called, was given its present name after the last manager of the stallion farm, Cavalry Captain Clas Thott, who lived there until 1953.

Today, Thottska Villan is a top-class conference centre, tastefully renovated to reflect different period styles of the last 300 years. Here you can enjoy the traditional atmosphere and the scenic beauty of the settings. When not in conference, you can visit the palace and admire D.K Ehrenstrahl´s famous horse in the fields, or just relax and sense the harmony.
